The Chamber of Commerce and industry of Republic of Srpska traditionally organises event “Selection of the most successful in the economy of the Republic of Srpska” where it, on the basis of criteria established by the Decision of the Board of the Economy Chamber of RS, and on the basis of data collected by companies and those provided by APIF (Agency for IT and financial services) performs the evaluation and ranking of companies in labor different categories.
An expert commission nominates the companies which in several categories have achieved significant results and apropos, it delivers the awards. The categories are divided into the most successful small, medium and large companies, the most significant investment and contribution to employment, the contribution to the development of corporate social responsibility, the most successful women in industry, a distinctive quality and the development of domestic product, and it delivers the awards to the companies that celebrate anniversaries or give a special contribution to the preservation environment.
At this year’s event “Selection of the most successful in the Republic of Srpska economy for 2015” R-S Silicon Ltd. was awarded in the category of the most important investment and contribution to employment since, the last year, an investment for building of plant for the silicon metal production was successfully realized and its value was over EUR 41 million and about 120 workers were employed.
