R-S Silicon was founded in 2012 by Metalleghe Spa Italy. It was a greenfield investment for the silicon metal production factory. The silicon metal is our primary product and secondary is the silica fume. It is a high and modern technology characterized by manufacturing process, factory plants, aspect of environmental protection and internal laboratory in which we have a strict control of basic raw materials and final product.
R-S Silicon is a new company of Metalleghe Group which has a great experience in the silicon metal production in the last 15 years. The production takes place by way of a submerged electrical furnace with the capacity of 16 000 t of silicon metal per year.
