R-S Silicon participated at the Business Forum Italy – Bosnia and Herzegovina organized by Italian Embassy in Sarajevo. Aim of the forum was gathering of Italian companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina and analyzing of the positive aspects, perspectives and challenges of the Italian presence in this country.
The forum was opened with a welcome speech of Ambassador Minasi, Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Fadil Novalic. Ambassador reminded that Italy is the second foreign trade partner of BiH, emphasizing that more than 70 Italian companies are operating in this country and employs more than 10.000 of Bosnian citizens.
Apart of the presence in banking sector, in BiH, Italian companies are present in almost all sectors of the economy: metal, chemical, textile, wood and other industries.
In the day of intensive lectures and discussions, among the other was discussed about possible contributions of Italian companies to new reform program, about Italian presence in the socio-economic area of this country, the impact of investments and other topics of crucial importance about development of the economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
These meetings were also an occasion for the analysis of the EU Delegation on possible contributions of new reforms in overcoming the difficulties by modernization of the economic system.
